Vehicle history:
Nine years ago, a German collector purchased this beautiful 280 SL Pagoda. During that time, he drove the car approximately 14,000 kilometers in good weather. Prior to that, the Mercedes-Benz had been completely restored down to the last detail in southern Germany. The restoration was completed in 2007. This Pagoda was originally delivered to the United States. There are no records available regarding the vehicle’s early years.
The Mercedes-Benz 280 SL, part of the W113 series, is a two-seater roadster coupe that was produced from 1963 to 1971. The W113 models, also known as “Pagoda” due to the characteristic inward-curving hardtop, are highly prized classics today. The 280 SL series was built from 1967 to 1971 and is the last and most powerful model in the series.
