*ENGINE

GM Turnkey 350 HP 327 V-8 with modern fuel injection system, Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake, 1.6 ratio rocker arms, Forged SRP Pistons, Comp Cams custom grind cam and Pushrods, Melling Oil Pump, Forged steel crank, EFI ECU, Summit Racing HEI distributor, March Pulley System with polished accessories. Billet Specialties finned valve covers and air cleaner lid, Flowtech headers and exhaust system for optimum exhaust flow delivers the sound and the performance, Hydro-boost master cylinder and power steering pump. ‘Tanks’ 1950 Mercury Replica gas tank with internal pump matted to hard lines from tank to engine.

*TRANSMISSION

GM TH400 three-speed automatic transmission rated at 450 ft. lbs. of input torque, longitudinally positioned behind the engine, best power ratio and durability for rear-wheel drive, Billet Specialties finned trans case, oil pan, and flywheel cover. Custom built driveline matted to a Ford 9 inch.

*COOLING

Summit Racing Classic OEM Downflow Radiator with 13-inch electric fan with A/C relay, A/C and heat controlled by Vintage Air products, including new electronic controls: blows cold or hot air. Radiator temp controlled by FiTech EFI ECU.

*WHEELS

Coker Specialty wheels with full-fitting moon chrome hubcaps. Coker Classic G70x15 wide whitewall tires in front and rear.

*EXTERIOR

Original America vintage all steel, rust-free body features a customized 6-inch chop at the A pillars and the B pillars were removed and hard-topped 7-1/2 inches. The rear end of the car was torpedo backed, and the corners were rounded. All emblems have been removed, everything has been shaved, and the hood modified with a forward 2-1/2-inch drop. Hand-formed windows and sail panels filled, frenched front headlights and peaked bumpers in chrome finish. Door entry and security provided by SPAL Shaved-40 remote entry kit.

All panels were smoothed and sculpted with correct lines and gaps. Paint is a custom mix by magazine featured Boot Hill Auto Restorers in a Black Cherry Pearl base clear finish, cut and polished. Custom thread-on headlight bezels with HID headlights. So-Cal Speed Shop swan neck mirrors, functional exhaust correctly boxed into frame and not just run underneath resulting in correct height, original colour-matching fender skirts, functioning inside mount gas cap and functional front and rear turn signal lights.

*SUSPENSION

Dropped spindles with modified Moog coil springs and factory leaf springs. Suspension has adjustability thru quick dial adjusting shocks for desired performance on street, circuit, or cruising. Ride height can be adjusted 3 inches allowing for accurate turn in and firm flat corner with slotted disc brakes.

*INTERIOR

Custom hand stitched high-grade upholstered vinyl bench seats with matching headliner and carpet, custom dash highlighting Dakota Digital VHX 1950-1951 Mercury instruments white faced gauges including fuel pressure and volts with black alloy background, custom door panels with billet accent door handles, custom vinyl armrests and Dorman power window switches. Flaming River tilt steering column, RPC V-8 Banjo designed steering wheel. Sound deadener throughout. Kick panels with map holders, custom-made aluminum scuff plates with ‘M’ letter stamps.
