Very nice 1960 MG Cabriolet, ready to go immediately! This MGA was delivered new in America in February 1960. In the 90s, this example sold to Germany and then imported into the Netherlands. In the Netherlands the MG extensively restored and then by two more Dutch owners driven and very well maintained.
The exterior features the original Chariot red paint. Deep red and beautiful in combination with the chrome. Of course, the paintwork various traces of use, but nothing strange after 30 years of use. The paintwork is nice and thick and there is also no rust or anything like that to be found. Furthermore the Roadster has a tonneau cover, beautiful hood and the original windows for the doors
The interior is a sight to see behold with all its woodwork. The woodwork is in very good condition and combines beautifully with the chrome of the meters and switches. The seats are in very good condition and offer great comfort. To make it even more graceful, they are equipped with red piping. This makes the interior absolutely finished.
Technically, the MG has the original 1581 cc 4 cylinder engine with 81 hp. Coupled with the dual SU carburetors. Starts and drives absolutely super. The 1600 engine is very quiet and picks up well. At higher speeds it feels nice smooth. Coupled with the good shifting 4 gearbox. Reasonably recently fitted with a new Kenlowe cooler, to prevent heating issues.
This MGA 1600 is ready for the summer. Also comes with all available documentation including American title, German documents and very many Dutch invoices of restoration and maintenance thereafter.
MGA now has valid Dutch Papers and classic license. Export is no problem!
