Description

This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at CarFest 2026 on Saturday the 29th of August and Sunday the 30th of August at The Wing, Silverstone Circuit, NN12 8TN.

Professionally converted to MGC GTS specification by MG Motorsport during 2024/2025 to the vendor's bespoke standards, costing over £100,000.

The car is finished in striking Lamborghini Verde Miura, complemented by black leather sports seats, a black Moto-Lita steering wheel, black knock-on Minilite wheels, black carpeting, and genuine rear-mounted Lucas yellow lens lamps.

It is powered by MG Motorsport's fast road specification six-cylinder engine, further enhanced with Jenvey Heritage throttle bodies, 350cc injectors, a Jenvey swirl pot with integrated fuel pump and regulator, a bespoke wiring loom, and a Life Racing F88RL ECU supplied and calibrated by Northampton Motorsport. The engine produces a reported 202.6 bhp and 210.3 lb-ft of torque.

Additional features include an EZ electric power steering conversion supplied and fitted by MG Motorsport, adjustable GAZ shock absorbers, static period-style three-point seat belts, a USB-C charging point, a center console with additional switchgear, and a discreet battery isolation switch.

The vehicle is supplied with photographs documenting the donor car prior to conversion, invoices, a rolling road report, and a new MOT valid until July 2027.

It has been dry stored in a dehumidified garage since completion, presenting a rare opportunity to acquire a comprehensively engineered MGC GTS recreation built to an exceptionally high specification.
