Gardner Douglas, the leading British manufacturer of Cobra replicas (he refers to them as "Cobra-inspired"), has built this special version based on his MK 3 with a square-tube racing chassis. Only two examples were produced, and this is the only one with left-hand drive.
The car is equipped with a 380-hp Corvette V8 engine paired with a close-ratio 5-speed Getrag transmission and a limited-slip differential. It weighs just 910 kg and features a genuine racing-derived square-tube chassis and a monocoque body, the only one of its kind. Unlike other Cobra replicas, it offers Porsche-like driving quality, being free of torsional flex or abnormal noises.
Another interesting aspect is its certification as a classic car, with a year of manufacture listed as 1965 on the registration document. This allows you to enjoy financial benefits such as reduced-rate transfer of ownership, subsidized insurance with a dedicated premium, and exemption from road tax.
The purchase price can be financed over 12 to 84 months, even without a down payment. You have the option to include the cost of the title transfer, warranties, maintenance, and additional services in the financing.
