Description

The Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.0-16v GSi is part of the first-generation Eclipse, produced from 1989 to 1994. Developed in the early 1990s through a joint project between Mitsubishi and Chrysler, it also led to the Plymouth Laser and Eagle Talon. Although not offered in Europe and Japan in the same form as in the United States, the Eclipse became a recognizable sporty coupe with a distinctive image in those markets.

The 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.0-16v GSi features a four-cylinder, sixteen-valve gasoline engine. It is a model from the final phase of the first generation, which established its position within the compact coupe segment. Known for its sporty body and lightweight construction, the Eclipse has remained popular among enthusiasts of 1990s Japanese coupes.

This particular Eclipse has been owned by a single owner for 28 years and is in running condition. It has been modified with several upgrades, including stud bars, a racing exhaust, and special brake rotors. The design reflects the simple, purpose-driven style typical of early 1990s sporty coupes. The combination of the 2.0-16v engine, GSi trim, and modifications places this vehicle within the era's culture of customization and technical tuning.
