Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to present this 1930 Nash 480
In 1930, the jack dandy who drove this gorgeous, hand pinstriped, royal maroon and diamond black, luxury sedan would have responded to the statement with a quizzical look and, âGreat Depression? What Great Depression?"
A complete frame off restoration down to the last bolt and nut, this emissary of pure class boasts an upgraded wood-removed and replaced, modernized steel, 4 bar-coil over front and rear suspension, power rotary disc brake conversion, power steering, air conditioning, am/fm stereo, power windows, stunning saddle tan leather interior, and tilt steering. A full cluster of polished brass gauges compliments the dark rich wood dash and matching wood and polished aluminum, deco-lire patterned steering wheel. This lovely representation isn't all looks, as there is a menacing growl that burbles from the tuned exhaust, revealing the power of the professionally rebuilt Chevrolet 350 V -8 and smooth shifting automatic transmission. Other accoutrements include majestic chrome headlights, grille, graceful sweeping bumpers, running boards with textured aluminum step pads, wire wheels and wide-whites.
I have been in this automobile personally, and although my superiors frown on using the word, âflawless' in our ads, this magnificent vehicle comes as close as you can, imbuing the elegance of the former world but with the technology and engineering of the modern one.
