Description

I have had this car for the last 5 years. It is in perfect working order, engine is running smoothIy and strongly. Certified as a classic car by the ACP (Automóvel Club de Portugal).
Complete exterior and interior features. Seats 6 people and all the inside is in good condition, all the equippement works perfectly, including the heating.
Bodywise it is solid, has no dents but the paint has some minor faults and shows some rust. It could benefit from a new paint job (the original color was dark blue). The rubbers around the driver and passengers windows are quite dry and would also benefit from being replaced. The metal frame around the back window is a bit damaged, as it was hit by a garage door.
The underside is also solid, at some point the rear metal underside (next to the rear bumper) was replaced by a brand new one, as it had rusted.
The only part that needs attention is the underside along the passenger side, as it has signs of rusting.
The car drives very well, it has a quite soft and confortable suspension and the steering is light (on the move). However, as in any old car equipped with drum brakes on all 4 wheels, some caution is advised in regard to safety distances and braking; particurarly considering the size (4,8 meters long) and wheight of the car (1340 Kg). The 3 speed gear box on the steering column works smoothly and is very enjoyable. Although the car has a manual gear box, because of the power of the engine and its high torque, it drives almost like an automatic, as you can drive at nearly any speed in 3rd gear.
When I I bought it, in October 2020, it needed some work to get it on proper and safe running order. Here are all the interventions it had, throughout the last 5 years in my possession:
