Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this custom 1941 Packard Street Rod Coupe
Packard is a name not seen all that often running down the road today. This would certainly be something not everyone has, which would make you stand out from the rest of the crowd at your local car meet.
Backed by a 401 CID V8 powerplant horsepower is not an issue for this classic car. The motor is out of a '72 Chevy and features a competition 292 cam, Edlebrock carburetor, and HEI distributor with crossfire cap. Keep the big motor cool is a Walker cobra Z-series 4-core radiator and electric fan. The transmission is a 700R4 out of a 1988 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. The owner has even provided us with a complete breakdown of the car and how it was built given to him by the previous owner. This comes in handy when adding this car to your collection as it allows you to have a good guideline as to how things were done and which parts to use.
Painted in a PPG Hondgras Blue mixed with some white and gray, this car certainly stands out when driving down the road. Bringing that gray color into the car, 8 leather hides were used to upholster this car giving it a more modern looks on the inside. If you are looking for a car to jump in and go for a nice cruise, this is the way to go.
