Description

History:

Maserati Indy (Tipo AM 116) is a four-man Grandback tourer produced from 1969-1975. The Indy model was introduced as an alternative to the GHIBLI model, offering a V8 engine and a space for four people. It successfully replaced the aging six-cylinder Maserati Sebring (2 + 2) – from the 3500GT and the first generation of the Quattroporte. The bodywork for Indy was designed by Vignale, and the model name was given in honor of two Maserati victories in the Indy 500 race. The Indy was offered with three engines of 4, 2L, 4, 7L and 4, 9L. The production of the model ended in 1975 in total, 1104 copies of Indy were produced including 4, 2L – 440pcs; 4, 7L – 364pcs. and 4, 9L – 300 PCs.

Condition:

The offered copy comes from 1973 R and is driven by a 4, 9L engine (manufactured 300pcs) with a power of 335 HP coupled with a manual gearbox. The car is after renovation, fully original and ready to ride.
