1969 Plymouth Barracuda
This car was customized and painted in the late 1970s, back when it was only around 10 years old.
After many years tucked away in a garage, it was carefully brought back to life by Urban Lindström in Vikarbyn—also known as "Mopar Ubbe."
He's a well-known figure in the Swedish Mopar scene and one of the most knowledgeable experts in the country!
The restoration was extensive yet respectful, carried out in true “Old School Style”
A vintage 400 block was used, now stroked to a powerful 500 CID. The rest of the engine and engine bay is all new.
It’s equipped with a 727 automatic transmission with shift kit and a 2200 rpm stall speed converter.
8 3/4" rear axle with limited-slip differential.
The undercarriage has been fully restored.
All-new braking system. New exhaust with electric cutouts and side pipes. New Teflon bushings. New shock absorbers. New tires and Centerline wheels. New bumpers. New wheel arch moldings. New carpet. New wiring. Front disc brakes. Power steering. Power brakes. Headers. X-pipe. Day & night rearview mirror. Dual side mirrors, and much more.
