For many years, 2shores has been offering selected, finest grade examples of collectible automobiles. This stunning 356 Outlaw is one of those examples!
This fantastic and high quality Outlaw creation started life as a 1963 Porsche 356B Super 90 in slate grey. It was home in Oregon for many years before eventually making its way the current owner, an enthusiastic Porsche fan in Southern California, who decided to build this car to a top level GT inspired Outlaw.
He consequently started an open checkbook built and commissioned the very best in the industry to perfect this most beautiful 356.
The original, numbers matching engine (CoA available) was trusted to master technician Steve Schmidt of Honest Engine in Costa Mesa. The engine was completely worked, bored to 1925cc using Mahle pistons and cylinders with Carillo rods and a new cam for better torque at low end.
The transmission was done by Vic Skirmants using all new Speedster gearing.
The complete electrical system was upgraded to 12V with an alternator.
The Outlaw also has an upgraded suspension system with Bilstein shocks. 4 wheel disc brakes, Porsche deep dish Fuchs rims and an electronic fire system were also added.
The interior boasts a set of custom built gorgeous red Speedster seats with pepita inserts by Fibersteel.
This is a spectacular looking and very well performing GT type Outlaw that is still numbers matching with Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. Invoices, Certificate of Authenticity as well as a dyno sheet are available for the car.
The car was featured in a Porsche Club Magazine in 2023. Impossible to recreate for the asking price.
