For sale this very beautiful Porsche 911 2.2L Targa from 1970

One of the most beautiful 911s was created at the end of the 1960s with the 2.2 S. These vehicles still combined the original character of the very first 911 models with the improved but still aggressive 2.2 L engine. Unlike later 2.4L models, these 2.2L engines like high revs to develop their power dynamically and powerfully.

In the 1970 model year only 729 were built and only 788 in 1971.

The vehicle is "Matching No." The engine number is 6301199 and the gearbox number 710 6153.

The vehicle was produced for the United States. From 2015 this vehicle was completely rebuilt and restored to the body for a customer. The engine, transmission, chassis and the entire drive unit have also been completely overhauled.

The interior and the original RECARO seats have also been professionally repaired, the chrome and the accessories have been renewed. The total cost of the restoration was over €200,000.

At the request of the customer, the vehicle was painted in the Porsche color “Signal Orange”. The delivery color was "silver".
