A tribute to the brand's pure motorsport genes, the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR embodies everything the 911 stands for in its most uncompromising form. Originally developed in the 1970s as a race car for the Group 4 championship, the RSR was an ultimate evolution of the classic 911, with wider wheel arches, a lightweight body and a more powerful engine. This example, imported from America in 2013, was built with high-quality components and attention to detail, resulting in a brutal yet refined machine that impresses both on the track and on the road.

Under the hood is a 3.4-liter engine, based on a 3.2 Carrera block and expertly built by John Forbes of Black Forest Racing. Weber 46 IDA carburetors provide instant throttle response and the characteristic raw intake sound that only a classic air-cooled Porsche can produce. Mahle Motorsport pistons and cylinders with a compression ratio of 10.3:1 provide an optimal balance between performance and reliability, while the MK 911R exhaust delivers a deep and aggressive sound that makes this 911 unmistakable.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a rebuilt 915 transmission from a 1978 911SC, equipped with a ZF limited slip differential for maximum grip and traction. The Wevo shift system provides short and precise shifts, giving the car a direct and mechanical driving feel that more modern 911s often lack. This is a car you really have to drive, where every shift and steering input provides a direct connection to the technology beneath your feet.

Lightweight components play a big part in the character of this RSR. The side screens, doors, bumpers and rear wing are fiberglass and come from GT Racing, while the side windows and rear window are lexan, further reducing weight. Inside, Recaro Pole Position bucket seats, a Zuffenhaus roll cage and a five-point harness provide a pure racing experience, where safety and stability are paramount. This is a Porsche built with a clear focus: maximum performance without unnecessary luxury.

The car is on Nankang semislicks, which, combined with the limited slip differential, provides impressive handling and unprecedented grip in corners. This Porsche is equipped with Sparco communications and a Terra Trip computer, it is also suitable for Rally driving. In addition, the Porsche comes with three pallets and a box full of extra parts, including rims, tires, door panels, an extra rear wing, brake components and mirrors a valuable addition for those who want to further perfect the car.

This Porsche 911 Carrera RSR is not just another classic 911, but a machine built with a clear vision: lightweight, uncompromising and ready to offer its driver an unfiltered driving experience. For the enthusiast looking for a driving interpretation of Porsche's racing history, this is a unique opportunity to own a car that combines power, balance and craftsmanship in perfect harmony.

To get a good idea of the lot, we recommend coming to the viewing day.
