Together with Porsche enthusiasts and car lovers, we take an epic journey back to the fantastic 1970s. Ah, the ’70s—a time of wild hairstyles, groovy music, and… a somewhat turbulent economy, thanks to the oil crisis! The big boss at Porsche saw the oil crisis as a signal and thought, “Why not just be a bit more efficient with our fuel?” And so began the era of cars that were not only fast, but also a lot more economical than your favorite uncle during happy hour.
“Espritzung?” Oh yes, that’s not just German jargon—it’s fancy talk for fuel injection! As you cruise to your favorite retro café, you can casually proclaim that your car is leaner than a hipster with a vintage carburetor. Let those old-school engines eat your dust!
This Porsche 911T Targa from 1973 has been restored and is in delightful condition. Just look at that attractive black paint paired with red leather upholstery—it’s like the perfect pairing of wine and food, but for car enthusiasts. Black with red leather interior: a perfect match.
At the rear sits the 2.4-liter six-cylinder boxer engine with, indeed, K-Jetronic fuel injection, reportedly modified in the 1990s with a subtle pressure relief valve in the air filter housing. That muted sound gives you just that extra bit of punch. Fully documented, with an overhauled engine featuring Carrera chain tensioners, stainless steel heat exchangers, and a sports exhaust. Imported from the United States with a Porsche certificate detailing the factory specifications, colors, and identification numbers. It also received a major service this year.
High time to get behind the wheel. We’re happy to assist you further!
