The Porsche 930 Turbo is considered one of the most iconic sports cars of the 1970s and was the top model in the 911 series at the time. The 1978 model year is particularly special, as Porsche introduced the 3.3-liter Turbo with intercooler, delivering 300 hp. With its wide body, characteristic rear spoiler, and pure, analog driving experience, the 930 Turbo is a highly sought-after classic today.
This is a red 1978 Porsche 930 Turbo. It is an original European Turbo, delivered new in Germany. The engine runs and the car drives. Visually, a few modifications have been made over the years, including an interior from a later 993 model. Additionally, aftermarket side skirts and side intakes have been installed, as well as a front spoiler in RUF BTR style.
The car was originally delivered by Maha in Munich, Germany, in 1978. An American soldier later took it to the USA, and it has been registered in the Netherlands since 1996. Recent maintenance includes replacement of all brake pads, the oil hose, installation of a reconditioned transmission with limited-slip differential, and a new clutch. A Porsche certificate of origin is available, and the car is matching numbers.
