We are delighted to present a very special Porsche 928. After a six-year development period, the 928 was introduced at the Geneva Salon in 1977. A year later, the bulky Porsche was even voted Car of the Year, a unique and never equalled achievement for a thoroughbred sports car.
Because it was. Everything was right. Near-perfect weight distribution due to the transaxle construction of the engine at the front and the transmission and differential at the rear. The lightweight 4.5-litre V8. Weight reduction through the use of aluminium doors, bonnet and front mudguards and the unique Weissach rear axle made the Porsche 928 a brilliant grand tourer.
This is a very rare early production model from 1977 with chassis number 9288101003, the car had the 4.7L engine fitted, is LHD has had a new interior and has had extensive restoration, with all receipts and history, it is currently on UK plates.
