Renault Alpine V6 GT Turbo
In 1985 Renault introduces the successor to the less successful A310, the V6GT, at the Amsterdam AutoRai. Not long after, the V6GT Turbo is also available. The engine power of the V6 Turbo thus increases to 200 hp. For a car with, thanks to the plastic body, both a low weight (1167 kg) and an extremely low air resistance (Cx value 0.48) a considerable engine power. This low air resistance, even a world record at the time, gave the car a top speed of 250 km/h. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 7 seconds, very appealing figures at the time. Figures certainly do not say everything about the sporty driving pleasure that an Alpine has to offer, the direct steering, subtle chassis, engine sound and sporty ergonomics make the V6GT a spectacular car that delivers what the enthusiast is looking for; driving pleasure. An additional fun factor is that a healthy V6GT with a solid background is an extremely safe bank account on wheels. This example amply meets the criteria set for a responsible car investment. This Alpine was delivered new in the Netherlands in 1987, it is still in the first paint, so damage-free and has a nice low mileage. Only 4151 V6GT Turbo were built, so the rarity here is also a piece of value substantiation. This beautiful example comes from a Dutch Alpine authority familiar with all 'avantages et inconvénients' of the V6GT. There is nothing more original than this copy, with an original Dutch registration. Thanks to careful storage, the sensitive red paint still has an even color and a deep shine. There are no visible signs of use, the interior is also completely original and undamaged. A real enthusiast's car that meets all the requirements of the connoisseur.
