1994 Renault Clio Williams Phase 1

A UK-delivered, right-hand drive Renault Clio Williams 1, number 133 of just 390 examples, finished in its correct and distinctive ‘449’ Metallic Sports Blue.

Acquired by our vendor to scratch a long-term itch, but now offered for sale as part of a collection rationalisation, having simply acquired more cars than he can reasonably enjoy.

The car now shows just under 55,000 miles and has recently benefited from further attention, including a new starter motor, new ECU mount, and associated works.

With low ownership and a history that includes long-term storage prior to a previous Classic sale, the vehicle would benefit from some additional improvements to bring it to the next level.

It is accompanied by its original book pack and a substantial history file, including the service book with 18 stamped services by Renault and specialists up to 2011 at 48,000 miles, making this a very appealing example of one of the definitive 1990s hot hatches.
