Description

Amazingly restored, running, 1919 REO MOTORCAR 1500 Express Truck combined with a horse drawn Hearse, and restored in Canada. Tons of hours, lots of detail and money spent to bring it to its original condition. Although sitting for a few years now and needing very little tlc, it still shows and runs very well. The REO Cab & Chassis were converted into a hearse by the Finch Carriage Company of Ridgeway, Ontario, Canada. Then it was converted into a furniture truck. It was purchased in 1995 and converted back into a hearse with parts of a nineteenth century horse drawn hearse from Ohio. Coach side lights were stolen and replicated with parts left over from the East Wing of the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Front wheels are in ash and rear are larger spoked in maple to carry the weight. The owners manual states that the REO Speedwagon displaces 1.9 drivers and 3.4 horses! open to serious offers, Delivery can be arranged!
