Description

Used, 1925 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Piccadilly Roadster This dashing Silver Ghost Piccadilly Roadster, chassis S204PK, was delivered to its first owner, Mrs. D.P. Robinson of Rye, New York, through J.S. Inskip on September 2, 1925. A left-hand-drive chassis, it retains its original Piccadilly Roadster coachwork, a Rolls-Royce Custom Coach Work design built by Merrimac, identified as body no. 1327. Ownership by an RROC member began in 1958 and, during the 1980s, it was part of William Lassiter?s collection in Florida. Its most recent owner was the former chairman of the Silver Ghost Association, who enjoyed it on an RROC tour in 2011 and subsequently showed it at the Amelia Island Concours d?Elegance in 2014. The deep maroon paintwork is accented by red-painted spoke wheels with whitewall tires. The black canvas top stows behind the seat and can be protected with a fitted boot cover. Interior upholstery and carpets are finished in matching maroon, and the rumble seat provides the option of transporting additional passengers. It comes equipped with an accessory trunk, dual side-mounted mirrors, vertical radiator shutters, and triple-lens taillamps. Just 79 Silver Ghosts were originally delivered with Piccadilly Roadster coachwork, and 17 remaining are known to the RROC today. Silver Ghosts are famous for their touring prowess and have a dedicated following in the Silver Ghost Association, RROC, and CCCA. This well cared for example offers its next owner numerous touring and show opportunities in elegant, open style.Chassis S204PKEngine 21044 Late Springfield, Left-Hand-Drive Chassis with Original Open Coachwork One of Only 79 Piccadilly Roadsters Built Well Cared for by a Number of RROC Owners Finished in an Elegant Deep Maroon with Matching Interior Ideal for RROC, CCCA, and Silver Ghost Association Touring and Show EventPrice: $289,500
