Originally delivered in the Netherlands in November 1970, this model features the 1.5-litre Ford Taunus V4 engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Saab’s practical station wagon surprises with its generous space, signature split tailgate, and two rear-facing foldable seats, offering room for seven. Around twelve years ago, the bodywork was restored and repainted in its original Toreador Red. The upholstery was also renewed. Between August and November 2024, the car underwent a technical overhaul: the engine and gearbox were rebuilt, the brakes were replaced, and both front and rear suspension were inspected. New Vredestein tyres were fitted, and the entire process is documented with photos. Extra features include a Weber carburettor, electronic ignition, and modern seatbelts.
