In 2014, the Land Cruiser J-150 received a significant mid-cycle facelift featuring a bolder exterior design and updated interior technology. The update introduced a more prominent, deeper front bumper and a new heritage-inspired grille. LED headlamps and daytime running lights were integrated into higher-mounted clusters to prevent damage during off-roading.

The higher-end Amazon (V200) models were powered by Toyota’s 4,608cc 1UR-FE V8 engine, producing around 227kW at 5,500rpm and 439Nm at 3,400rpm, paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Additional features included permanent 4x4, Active Traction Control, Hill-start Assist, and Downhill Assist.
