We turn the key and the six-cylinder engine comes smoothly to life. The engine eagerly climbs into the revs and does so without any effort. This is obviously a healthy specimen and one that also shifts wonderfully. The clutch pedal also feels good and the handling is exactly as we expect from a well-maintained TR6. It is immediately clear that the previous owners have maintained this TR6 with care. The suspension feels solid, the engine feels good during acceleration and the whole thing is in harmony with each other. This gives a high level of driving pleasure that actually makes us not want to go home and continue to enjoy driving.
