Description

Originally delivered to the USA (Alaska), the car underwent a bare‑metal body restoration in the late 1990s; photographs and part of its American history file are included. The TR6 was imported into the Netherlands on 28 May 2003 and has remained with the same owner for the past 23 years.

Maintenance
This sporty TR6 is in good driving condition and shows the signs of use and age that together form a pleasing patina. The interior upholstery and the dash top were renewed at some point. Mechanically, the car has been serviced punctually over the years, with invoices to support the work carried out.

In 2018 the complete clutch assembly and clutch cylinder were replaced. In 2021 the carburettors were overhauled; in 2023 the ignition system, generator, and brake master cylinder were renewed; and in 2024 the gearbox was overhauled at a cost of €3.890. The engine runs and sounds excellent, and the gearbox shifts crisply and precisely.

Options
Over the past twenty years the car has covered 20.000 miles. The TR6 is equipped with several options: two chrome door‑mounted rear‑view mirrors, a wind‑stop behind the seats, a Moto‑Lita wood‑rim sports steering wheel, K&N sports air filters on the Stromberg carburettors, and a chrome boot rack.

Finished in blue with a black faux‑leather interior and black carpeting, this Triumph TR6 first registered on the 30th of June 1971 presents as a well‑maintained and honest driver’s car. It is fitted with a blue mohair soft‑top and a black vinyl hood cover.

This well‑maintained TR6 carries its age and experience with charm. It is a sporty companion for summer evenings and weekend outings, offering an open‑top driving experience enhanced by the wonderful soundtrack of the six‑cylinder engine.
