Description

One of just three built to this specification

A lovely, sharp, smart and correct ‘matching numbers’ example of the desirable Vantage model, beautifully finished in deep Oxford blue, with excellent black leather interior, as per the original factory specification sheet, with carpets, headlining, instruments, etc, all in very nice condition. Also as delivered, the car is equipped with power steering, chrome wire wheels (in virtually unused condition), heated rear screen, electric aerial, three ear hub caps and three point seat belts. The chrome plating is also in excellent condition, and the whole car has a 'fresh' feel to it, including the under bonnet area, which is particularly well and correctly presented. Not 'over the top', but just as it should be! A lovely example, running and driving very nicely, (as you can see in the video) and offered newly MoT tested.

Snippets: Jaeger Cabinets to Clothing

The chassis cards show that when new the DB6 was registered to The Jaeger Co Ltd at Fitzroy House, Nr 11 Chenies Street, London. The property dates from 1913 & was built for the cabinet makers Domenico Bianco & Sons – it was the London’s first concrete & steel building of 5 storeys and during both World Wars the company produced aeroplane parts including wings, propellors & munition boxes. In the 1960s & 70s Nr 11 Chenies Street was home to Jaeger where they made patterns for their high-end clothing designs.

From the late 1970s until 2009 the Aston Martin was owned by James H. Delaney of Norton Canes and John Davies of Rushall – they lived less than 5 miles apart.
