Description

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster was introduced in 2006 as the convertible version of the V8 Vantage, which had redefined Aston Martin’s compact sports car lineup a few years earlier. The model marked a return to a shorter, more driver-focused Aston Martin compared to the larger DB models, featuring an aluminum structure and a transaxle layout characteristic of this class. The V8 Vantage Roadster was part of a period in which Aston Martin modernized its lineup while still maintaining classic sports car proportions.

This 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster was delivered new in February 2007 as a factory car in Gaydon, England, for press purposes. It was first registered in June 2007. Since then, the car has had German owners, with maintenance history and inspections showing a continuous odometer reading. The service booklet records visits in Gaydon, Dortmund, Hanover, and Engelbrechtsche Wildnis, reflecting its international European distribution.

The V8 Vantage Roadster allowed Aston Martin to combine a more accessible sports car format with an open-top body style. It closely mirrored the coupe in technology and styling but added an electrically operated soft top, which did not significantly alter the car’s profile. This example has documented maintenance and mileage history, with the first service performed in February 2007 at 1,547 kilometers in Gaydon. Subsequent services occurred at 13,673 kilometers in Dortmund, 19,982 kilometers in Hanover, and 38,950 kilometers in Engelbrechtsche Wildnis. Further records show mileage at 19,192, 24,553, 39,039, 44,673, 48,743, 49,691, 54,373, and 57,923 kilometers, providing a continuous usage overview.

The car was repainted in its current exterior color at some point, and the wheels are not original Aston Martin parts but were later replaced with a non-original set.

This 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster is an early factory-built model from Gaydon with a well-documented maintenance and mileage history in the UK and Germany. It features a classic design with compact proportions, a low seating position, and a long hood. The vehicle’s aluminum construction and balanced weight distribution are notable. To better assess the car, viewing is recommended.
