The Volvo 460 is a compact sedan produced by Swedish automaker Volvo between 1989 and 1996. It was designed to offer a relatively small car, but with the comfort and safety that are hallmarks of the Volvo brand. The 460 was built on Volvo's 400 series platform, and is considered one of the brand's first true small cars, somewhat smaller than other Volvo sedans of the time.
