Volvo 1800 S from 1965 – a beautifully restored and historically significant example, finished in its original colour California White and supported by extensive documentation.

Between 2005 and 2015, the car underwent a comprehensive professional restoration of both bodywork and mechanical components. The car was fully dismantled, metal repairs were carried out where required, and the body was repainted in the correct original colour. Mechanical components were rebuilt, including the installation of new carburetors. Rubber seals, trim and wear items were replaced, and the interior was restored to original specification with red leather upholstery and new carpets. The restoration is thoroughly documented and has proven to age very well.

The documented mileage is approximately 127,200 km. This is not an untouched survivor, but a carefully restored and well-presented car intended for serious enthusiasts and long-term ownership.

The Volvo 1800 holds a unique place in automotive and popular culture history, most famously through its association with The Saint, driven by Simon Templar in the iconic television series. The design origins trace back to Volvo designer Pelle Pettersson, whose sketches were selected during the development of the model. This particular car is signed by both Pelle Pettersson and actor Roger Moore, with photographic documentation included, adding a rare cultural and historical layer to an already exceptional vehicle.
