Description

The Volvo XC60 was introduced in 2008 as a compact SUV within the Volvo Car Corporation lineup, positioned between the XC40—with its higher seating position—and the larger XC90. The model was developed on the EUCD platform, which was also used for vehicles such as the Ford Mondeo and Volvo’s S60 and V70 from the same period. The XC60 was intended as a more city-oriented SUV with an emphasis on safety, comfort, and ease of use—features that aligned well with Volvo’s market position in the premium mid-size segment.

The 2012 Volvo XC60 2.0 T5 Summum belongs to the first generation, which remained in production until 2017. During this period, the XC60 became an important model for Volvo, partly due to the combination of a higher entry height, relatively compact exterior dimensions, and a wide range of engine options. The T5 version, with its 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine, was part of Volvo’s modernized engine strategy, in which smaller turbocharged engines began to play a role. The original new-car price of this particular vehicle was 64,209 euros in 2010.

The Volvo XC60 2.0 T5 Summum was manufactured on April 20, 2012, and is an original Dutch-registered vehicle. The maintenance history is available, and maintenance has been performed by Volvo dealers and Volvo specialists. This aligns with the typical use of the XC60 as a prestigious family and travel car, emphasizing predictable use and a versatile configuration.

The Volvo XC60 2.0 T5 Summum is equipped with an automatic transmission, beige leather upholstery, and a black exterior. It features automatic climate control, heated seats, a large navigation system, a removable tow hitch, and xenon headlights. The equipment also includes four power windows, a radio, rear parking sensors, six airbags, a multifunction steering wheel, a Class 3 alarm, fog lights, and a rain and light sensor. The car is fitted with 17-inch Volvo XC wheels. Currently, the sunroof is not functioning.

Technically, it features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine (model B4204T7), producing 241 pk and 177 kW, paired with front-wheel drive. The top speed is 210 km/h, and acceleration to 100 km/h takes 8.1 seconds. The curb weight is 1,606 kg, and the combined fuel consumption is 8.5 liters per 100 kilometers, or 11.8 km/l. The Volvo XC60 2.0 T5 Summum meets the Euro 5 standard.

Within the Volvo XC60 lineup, the Summum trim level represented a higher level of equipment, aligning with the model’s character as a comfort-oriented SUV. Combined with the removable tow hitch and practical interior layout, the XC60 was often chosen as a versatile vehicle, without compromising Volvo’s design and safety philosophy.

The Volvo XC60 2.0 T5 Summum is an original Dutch SUV from 2012 with an automatic transmission, a 2.0-liter gasoline engine, extensive equipment, and a complete maintenance history. Currently, the sunroof is not working. The combination of technical specifications, the Summum trim level, and well-known Volvo characteristics makes this a representative example of the first-generation XC60. To get a good idea of the lot, we recommend that you attend the viewing day.
