A beautifully restored Volvo PV444 DS (De Luxe Special), presented in excellent condition.
The car underwent a careful and well-documented restoration over approximately seven years. The previous owner purchased the car in September 2004; he was a professional Volvo mechanic who carried out all work personally.
Originally sold new in Stockholm, the car was first registered in January 1953. Extensive history is preserved, including invoices and documentation from the early years.
Powered by the original B4B 1.4-litre engine producing 44 hp, it is paired with a 3-speed manual gearbox with non-synchronized first gear. Features include a split rear window, driver-side searchlight, whitewall tyres, and correct period details such as a bonnet ornament and sun visors.
This is a very correct and well-preserved example of this iconic Swedish classic, ideal for collectors and enthusiasts.
Since 2012, it has been part of a collection of classic Volvo cars. We assist with worldwide export and transport, making the process smooth and worry-free.
