This 1928 Stutz Bearcat Replica is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom.
Hand built by a company in the early 70's in Sarasota, Florida along with 3 others. Everything on the Stutz was fabricated and custom built from the frame up with an original cost of construction in the 1970's of over $40,000.00. Since that time, three of the replica cars have been destroyed. This cool car however was purchased by the Barnum & Bailey Circus Museum for display purposes. This car sat for over 2 decades in the museum for visitors to see. This also preserved the quality of construction of the car. In 1995, the museum found itself in financial trouble. Due to that situation the assets of the museum went up for sale to include this car. It was purchased and enjoyed until 2014 when the car went under a full restoration. No detail was overlooked during the cars extensive restoration bringing it back to its original glory. Even at 80 MPH this car runs smooth and cool while turning every head you pass by. The drive train on this Stutz is a 1974 Ford 300 Cubic Inch 6 Cylinder, freshly rebuilt, with less than 2000 miles. The C4 transmission was done at the same time and really makes this beauty travel down the road with ease. The black canvas top is clean and shows well with the frame being freshly chromed. This car is an incredible piece of history and is sure to be a centerpiece in any collection.
Options on this 1928 Stutz Bearcat replica include, Bias Ply Tires, Wire Wheels, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Manual Top, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, and Wide White Wall Tires.
