Austin MINI 1275 GT… Since 1971, the sportiest variant in the MINI range and the one that made you dream about racing!
This 1275 GT is in very good general condition, is mechanically impeccable and has excellent performance, allowing great driving pleasure.
It is presented in the original color “Tahiti Blue” with “Navy Blue” interior, original 10” Rostyle wheels and Yokohama Advan A008 tires.
Fully restored between 1996 and 1997, it was intervened again in 2011 for repainting and some mechanical improvements.
Prepared for any challenge, this 1275 GT has already traveled long distances to participate in several MINI events in the United Kingdom, Spain and Portugal.

The 1275 GT was performant and was cheaper and more economical than the Cooper S, more than enough reasons to make the model a true object of desire during the 70s.
The Mini Clubman, a facelifted version of the MINI with a squarer front, served as the basis for the 1275 GT, although it was considered a separate model.
In the international competition scene, the 1275 GT would have enormous success, especially on the tracks, with Richard Longman's victories in the BSCC (British Saloon Car Championship) in 1978 and 1979. In Portugal it was widely used, both for circuit and rally racing. where it proved to be quite competitive.
