The Austin-Healey 3000, also known as the "Big Healey," is a British sports car produced by Austin-Healey, between 1959 and 1967.
Mark II
In March 1961 the new 3000 Mark II went on sale, in both 2-seater and 2+2 versions.
The 3000 Mark II adopts 3 SU HS4 carburetors instead of the previous 2, a modification probably made to allow 3 Weber carburetors to be adopted in competition, and reprofiled camshaft to obtain 132 hp (SAE) at 4750 rpm and 23 kgm torque (SAE) at 3000 rpm and reach 180 km/h. The body was also modified with a new complete oval grille with vertical bars and seat belt attachments.
