Description

This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at CarFest 2026 on Saturday the 29th of August and Sunday the 30th of August at The Wing, Silverstone Circuit, NN12 8TN.

A beautifully executed homage to the great British sports cars of the 1930s, subtly enhanced for modern motoring. Founded by Nick Green in nearby New Milton, Hampshire, NG Cars remains one of the longest-established and most respected builders of period-inspired sports cars.

Built using the identity of a 1967 MGB GT, this car retains its age-related registration and is clothed in evocative boat-tail TC-style bodywork inspired by a bygone motoring era.

It is powered by a recently overhauled Rover 3.5-litre V8, including rebuilt carburettors, paired with a desirable five-speed manual gearbox. This combination offers effortless touring with exhilarating performance when required.

The car has been recently refinished in Nightfire Red and complemented by a beautifully retrimmed Tan hide interior, presenting exceptionally well throughout.

It is well specified with Brooklands aero screens, cycle wings, a chrome luggage rack, and 16-inch Image split-rim alloy wheels fitted with quality Toyo tyres, blending period charm with improved usability.

The vehicle is accompanied by a comprehensive history file containing maintenance invoices, wiring diagrams, and an extensive collection of previous MOT certificates.

Having covered just 5,300 miles since conversion, this superbly engineered NG has been built to a high standard and remains in excellent condition throughout.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a particularly well-presented NG TC V8, offering timeless styling, impressive performance, and exceptional value. Early inspection is welcomed and encouraged to fully appreciate the quality on offer.
