This Sbarro Mille Miglia was built in 2012 on the Ferrari 400 carburetor platform, using the original chassis and V12 engine. It was presented and exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013 and has had the same owner since 2014.
This example is truly unique among the seven Sbarro Mille Miglia cars ever built. It is the only one fitted with a short wheelbase chassis and the only one with a valid road registration. It holds a French registration (Carte Grise française), registered as a Ferrari 400. Originally commissioned by a Belgian client, it was hand-built by Franco Sbarro’s workshop.
The car has been carefully maintained throughout ownership. It is currently located in a specialist garage in the South-West of France, where it is undergoing routine service and revision to ensure it is delivered in optimal mechanical condition.
From a market perspective, one of the seven Sbarro Mille Miglia cars sold for over €300,000 in 2023. Another example is currently offered off-market in Italy for over €500,000.
Given its road legality, short wheelbase configuration, and provenance, this car stands out as one of the most usable and distinctive Mille Miglia ever produced.
