The Bentley Azure T represents the ultimate expression of Bentley’s traditional, full-size luxury convertible. Hand-built at Crewe on the Arnage platform and produced in very limited numbers, only 80 examples were manufactured globally. The Azure T marked the final chapter for Bentley’s long-wheelbase, V8-powered open tourers, combining heritage craftsmanship with modern engineering.
At its core is Bentley’s 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V8, uprated in T specification to deliver approximately 500bhp. This provides immense, effortless performance, ideal for grand touring. The Jack Barclay Special Edition models are distinguished by unique specifications and enhanced Mulliner detailing, including exclusive paint finishes, bespoke quilted leather interiors, carefully selected veneers, dark-tinted grilles, a Jewel fuel filler cap, and 20-inch two-piece alloy wheels. As a final-series model, the Azure T benefits from the most developed specification of the Arnage-based platform, representing the pinnacle of this lineage.
Finished in Beluga Black with a black quilted Mulliner leather interior, this example presents a restrained and timeless aesthetic, highlighting the craftsmanship and quality of materials. The interior features diamond-quilted hides and hand-finished surfaces throughout.
At the time of cataloguing, the odometer recorded just over 2,400 miles, a notably low figure for a car of this age. The car was acquired by the current owner approximately seven years ago and has been used sparingly, including for his daughter’s wedding in recent years.
