This Bentley Continental R Mulliner, chassis CX01851, was ordered by Bentley Paris (Voitures Paris Monceau SA) in 2002 as a car for the German market. With reference to Bentley's full specification sheet, this luxurious car was ordered in the color "Silver Tempest" with "Nautic Blue" leather interior. The following extras were included in it:

Telephone set with voice command in German
reversing horn
The car's service booklet shows that Bentley Motors completed the delivery inspection on August 5, 2004 at 130km. Little is known about its first owner, the next service is dated March 6, 2008, and on that date, the odometer read 2,404km. This is what was recorded by the official Bentley Belgium dealer.
Incredibly, in January 2019 the odometer read just over 4,000km. On Kidston's advice, earlier that year our client commissioned Phantom Motor Cars-a Bentley and Rolls-Royce specialist-to examine its condition and do any necessary work.
In a report dated January 10, 2019, the business owner stated "this Bentley Continental R Mulliner is in perfect condition relative to its age and extremely low use." He recommended reviewing the hydraulic system, replacing the tires, and doing other work to make the Bentley usable in the best condition. At this point the car had traveled 4,098km.
Under the owner's permission, the experienced mechanics at Phantom Motors did the necessary work that included:
the replacement of all tires with new Pirelli Asimmetrico 285/45 ZR 18s
the replacement of the old Nokia phone devices with new Parrott Bluetooth ones
the installation of discreet phone charging along with an MP3 streaming system
the replacement of the umbrellas with a pair of Bentley umbrellas
the installation of a new OEM battery and a CTEK charge maintainer
application of protective films to both rear wheel arches
the repair of the driver's side seating mechanism
the replacement of the antenna
the reprogramming of the alarm system with new keys
the overhaul of the steering
the installation of Alcon calipers to the front brakes (€10,845+VAT), discs (€3,406+VAT), and pads (€3,388+VAT), the disassembly and overhaul of the rear calipers
the overhaul of the cooling system including the installation of a new expansion tank
the fitting of new shock absorbers to support the front hood
suspension overhaul with convergence.
