Description

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to showcase this wild and wonderfully customized 1951 Willys Wagon! With its unmistakable vintage shape, bold custom styling, and a modern V8 under the hood, this Willys has the kind of presence that is likely to turn heads wherever it goes.

The exterior features a striking Black Cherry finish across the front, complemented by custom Maple woodwork throughout the body for a one-of-a-kind look. Sitting on 20-inch Blaque Diamond wheels, this Wagon has a stance that gives the classic Willys design a serious dose of attitude. The custom hood and extensive custom metalwork further set this build apart from the crowd.

Power comes from a 5.3L LM7 V8 paired with a 4L60E automatic transmission. The engine was reportedly rebuilt approximately 1,800 miles ago, while the heads have also been resurfaced and rebuilt. The powertrain gives this classic Wagon a modernized driving character while retaining plenty of the charm that makes a vintage Willys so appealing.

This build is loaded with custom touches, including a Custom Maple Body, Hydroboost brakes, front coilovers, a Trailer Blazer frame, electric rear liftgate, backup camera, Bluetooth, and polished engine chrome. The interior adds even more personality with custom BMW-sourced seats and distinctive cutouts that complement the overall custom theme.

Additional equipment includes AM/FM radio, cassette player, CD player, power brakes, power steering, power locks, remote start, power seats, power windows, tilt wheel, keyless entry, seat belts, anti-theft system, vinyl interior, radial tires, and aluminum/alloy wheels.

Originally coming from California, the custom work was completed here in Texas, resulting in a unique combination of vintage Willys character and modern custom craftsmanship. Whether you're cruising the boulevard, heading to a car show, or simply looking for something that stands out from the usual classics, this 1951 Willys Wagon could bring plenty of personality to the drive.
