First registered on February 17, 1988, this classic BMW E30 convertible has been mechanically well maintained, with many parts replaced over the years. Our Oldtimerfarm inspection team has prepared an expertise report with the following findings.

Condition and Remarks:
The car has an older professional restoration. The bodywork is original and in good condition with signs of use; the lower left front wing is loose. The paint has been repainted. The underside is original and in good, honest condition. Tires are in good condition and can last a few more years, though front tires are worn and should be replaced; rear tires were replaced in 2023.
The soft top is in good condition but shows signs of use. Carpets have local damage, and the lower dashboard cover on the driver’s side is missing. Parts of the center console are missing but are included in the trunk. The chassis number is original and clearly readable, located in the windshield gutter.
The engine bay is in good, honest condition, with the hood insulation missing but a new one included in the trunk. The engine has had an older restoration and runs well. The timing belt was replaced in 2023. The battery is in good condition and should last a few more years. The clutch, gearbox, brakes, and handbrake all work well. The electrical system is functional; the horn, wipers, and heating work, but the dashboard and odometer are not working. Lighting functions correctly. Suspension and axles are in good condition.
Recent work includes new stabilizer bars (left and right), new engine mounts, steering rack bushing, fuel pump, fuel lines, brake discs and pads with wear indicators, and master and slave cylinders. Under the hood, new water pump, thermostat, temperature sensor, radiator, viscous coupling, hoses, timing belts, spark plugs, rotor, distributor cap, fuel filter, fuel lines, valve cover gasket, intake gasket, and other gaskets have been installed. Fluids have been replaced, including coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, engine oil, oil filter, and air filter. A clean interior set has been installed.
Documentation includes Dutch registration papers and E705. The vehicle is available for viewing at Oldtimerfarm, Lobulckstraat 9, 9880 Aalter. Visits are possible with or without an appointment, and inspections on a lift are available upon request. More than 300 classic cars and motorcycles are available. The location is five minutes from E40 exit Aalter.
