BMW E12 528i (180 hp) from 1979.

Designed by master builder Paul Bracq, the E12 launched the legendary 5 Series, setting a new standard for the balance between sportiness and elegance, becoming one of the legends of Munich.

The 528i is one of the most powerful E12 models sold in Europe, just below the M535i. It is equipped with the legendary M30 inline 6-cylinder engine developing 180 hp thanks to Bosch electronic fuel injection, combined with a 4-speed manual gearbox, 4-piston brake calipers, and one of the few models of the brand with dual center exhausts.

This recently restored mechanical unit (restoration cost over €8, 000) with many verifiable invoices has been fitted with:

- All new fuel hoses.

- All new coolant hoses.

- All new vacuum hoses.

- New power steering, brake, and coolant fluids.

- New engine, gearbox, and differential oils.

- All new filters and spark plugs.

- New accessory belts.

- New radiator, thermostat, and water pump + cooling system cleaning.

- All new brake calipers, discs, pads, sensors, and hoses.

- All new tires.

- New cylinder head gasket, bolts, valve stem seals, and additional gaskets + (planning, checking, and cleaning)

- New battery, isolator, and all fuses.

- Reworked injectors and injection rail.

- New windshield washer pump and wiper blades

- New clutch master cylinder.

- Reworked fuel tank and new fuel pump.

- New tie rods and tie rod ends + steering alignment.

And more things I don't remember. Just arrive, start, and enjoy.
With power steering, a folding sunroof, and electronic fuel injection.
It's been kept as original as possible, with the bodywork, paint, and interior maintained but not restored. It has passed the MOT and is registered as a historic vehicle (it passes the MOT every four years, and it's more lax), and it can be driven in low-emission zones.
A true gem that doesn't go unnoticed wherever it goes.

I've added four 15" BBS Styling 5 wheels and an M-technic spoiler.

The headlights have yellow vinyl; they can be removed if desired (they pass the MOT).
