It is actually quite simple: we are great lovers of a wide range of (classic) cars’s. Sometimes Gallery Aaldering brings in cars’s that we keep walking around. This BMW 635 CSi is one of those, because a better and more beautiful example is almost impossible to find nowadays, but more about that later.We go back to 1976. BMW introduced the 6 Series, also referred to as E24, to the general public. It wasn't long before BMW scored an outright hit with this model. Why? Because this BMW combined a number of attractive features: a sporty-lined coupé with fantastic engines suitable for the German Autobahn, among other things, a beautiful interior, very modern for the time with, among other things, an on-board computer and with BMW's typical cockpit where everything was designed for the driver. It also eventually turned out that BMW had designed the 6 Series so well that BMW owners greatly appreciated its reliability. Basically, the engineering was partly based on the BMW 5 series of the time. The introduction of the 6 series combined a number of features that were later found in the new 7 series, which at that time had not yet been introduced. Some features of the BMW E24 include disc brakes all around, power steering and independent suspension. We present here a BMW 635 CSi in showroom quality with only 38,000 kilometers. This is an insanely beautiful BMW in a condition that has become an absolute rarity these days. Some details: the complete tool kit is present, the insulation under the hood is untouched, the carpets in the interior smell like new, the first paint shines like in 1986 and the leather is as smooth as it was almost 40 years ago. The engine runs silently. Sometimes it is difficult to put the condition of a car into words, but hopefully with this one you will have an impression. This is a 6 series from the last series of the E24 and this one has a rich equipment including a sunroof, power seats with memory function, power windows, Becker Mexico radio, and so on. We deliver this BMW with the complete history from the first day of delivery and the documentation come in two large folders. Needless to say, the mileage is demonstrable and the documentation is plentiful. We have already attached some pictures’s of the documentation for you. The bodywork, finished in the beautiful color ‘Platanengrün’, is almost in new condition if we consider that this BMW is almost 40 years old. The fits of the various body parts are perfect. The car is in first paint. The windows are in beautiful condition, as are the rims and bumpers. In the interior we find a completely intact interior that is practically in new condition. The shift lever looks like new, the steering wheel looks unused and the entire instrument cluster with on-board computer work just like four decades ago. The fantastic six-cylinder engine starts immediately, runs silky smooth and has that typical BMW sound that decades later can still be heard on various BMW models. The clutch is noiseless and light to operate, the shift lever feels tight and confident, and the power steering does its job flawlessly. It is a great pleasure to drive this BMW. The suspension still feels like new and needless to say, a BMW of this caliber in this condition simply has outstanding handling and, in our opinion, offers a wonderful blend of sporty and comfortable; something that is often no longer the case with modern cars’s.
