One of the very few examples left today, with many details that make the difference starting with the chassis number beginning with 110***** of this beautiful E9 series coupe, chosen by the previous owner among other things in the metallic midnight blue color of when it was presented in the Bmw Dealerships, during the fabulous 1960s.
The car is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder M10 engine with Solex 40PHH twin-body carburetors, mated to a 4-speed manual transmission.
This car has only 1 owner, and is in remarkably splendid condition, as it was when it was produced 54 years ago.
The interior is very luxurious and of the highest quality, the dash panel and trim is real wood and has a superlative design.
Many optionals have been ordered, including electric antenna, metallic paint, front power windows?
This 2000 Coupe is a 1960s sports car far ahead of the competition in terms of engineering, drivability and safety.
BMW wanted to offer a sleeker GT-type coupe based on the "New Class" platform, so it turned to German coachbuilder Karmann to produce the bodies for the 2000 C series.
The sleek new styling of the Karmann-bodied coupe, combined with BMW's brilliant two-liter overhead-cam engine, created a compelling combination, and its sales skyrocketed.
