After the original car sustained irreparable damage in the past, a complete restoration and rebuild were carried out in 2018 based on an original Dutch BMW 1802 chassis from the same model year. The restoration was performed to 2002 Tii specifications using original parts. The car comes with photos of the original 2002 Tii before and after the accident, as well as several photos of the restoration. Both the license plate of the original 2002 and that of the 1802 are included. This is a remarkable and thoroughly documented example with a unique story.
