Darrian T9 Leyton House (1989) – ex Robin Herd – nut & bolt restored

Here we’ve got something rather special….Car was built for owned by and driven by Robin Herd who formed the March F1 team along with
Max Mosley.

The car started live as a T9, Robin wanted to do aero work on it. and paid for the moulds. That’s how the T90 came about ( my car ).
I have paperwork from its built, testing times from 1989.

It’s just had a big article done in this month’s Pacenotes Rally Magazine ( I have a copy )
It has a 267bhp Cosworth NA YB engine running twin 48 webbers.
It has a Hewland FT gearbox with March side plates crownheel and pinion.
Both engine and box had full rebuilds and has covered under 100 miles.
The car has a big following and is remembered by so many people.
This is a true 1 off original car owned by one of the best F1 designers ever to come from the UK,
Robin was even involved with Concorde…
