Rimac has planned the production of 150 examples and is involved in the process of homologation for the world market. The company declared that all 150 examples were pre-ordered 3 weeks after the official presentation. It was initially expected that the first cars would be delivered to owners in 2020.
The Nevera features 4 electric motors, one for each wheel, liquid cooled, combined with two different transmissions: two single-speed gearboxes 39; front and two gearboxes at the rear equipped with two gears. The estimated maximum speed is 415 km/h thanks to a power of 1408 kW (1914 CV; 1888 hp) and a pair of 2300 N⋅m; the car will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.97 seconds, making it one of the fastest cars in the world. According to the manufacturer, the Nevera has a range of 647 kilometres, based on the NEDC cycle and will be able to complete two laps of the NürburgringNürburgring a> Thanks to the charging system at ultrasonic sensors and 12 radar system, 6 lidar which implies an almost total degree of automation. This will be possible thanks to 8 cameras, at the fourth level autonomous driving. The car will be compatible without suffering a deterioration in performance. The Nevera takes 30 minutes to recharge the batteries from 120 kWh by 80% The conventional doors present on the car that preceded it are replaced by doors with "butterfly" opening. The weight of 1975 kg guarantees a weight-power ratio of 0.97 HP/kg.
