Description

It has been in our family and garaged for over 60 years; doors and body are solid. Built as an ambulance. The rear compartment has an oak cabinet built behind the driver's seat, facing to the rear with a water reservoir with pull down sink. No rust, except for the battery box, which is underneath the driver side floor. All the floors and underneath are solid and rust free as well, the rear compartment floor is wood with original mounting hardware for a gurney, not present. The rubber body joints don't show any cracking. or rust. It is completely original, still 6 Volt, original paint with scratches and small dings from its years of service. There are a couple of creases on the rear roof above the rear door where it was backed into something before we purchased it. It was built with a split rear bumper, because it has a pull-down step in the middle below the rear door, the bumper rubber joints are missing, and it should have a solid, one-piece bumper as the body metal around the brackets have been bent and expanded. A few of the flat pieces of glass are cracked, the hood ornament and glove box latch are missing. When opening the engine compartment, I have to fold half the hood onto the other side. Engine is free, we live in a dry climate. That is all I recall being wrong with the car, last started 8 years ago, no smoke.
