1956 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible
Cadillac introduced the fourth generation of Series 62 for the 1954 model year. The fourth-generation Series 62 was offered in various body styles, including convertible, sedan, and Coupe de Ville. An 8-cyl, 365cid/285hp 4bbl (5.4L or 6.0L V8) powered this updated generation of Series 62.
The Series 62 could be distinguished by the lack of rear fender louvers. Instead, V-shaped ornaments and crests were used in the hood and deck, and there were entire-length body underscores in bright metal.
This 1956 Cadillac 62 Convertible is presented in a beautiful color combination of a Red exterior (Paint Code # 50 - Mandan Red) complemented by a Red and White interior (Trim, Code #28), a White convertible top, and a custom-designed fully carpeted trunk. The vehicle was fully restored app. 15 years ago. Shortly after the restoration, the current owner bought the car and added it to its collection. Since restoration, the odometer shows 1,270 miles and is to be believed correct.
The engine is a 365ci 4bbl V8 mated to a 4-speed Hydramatic dual-range automatic transmission, a stock air cleaner on top of dual 4-barrel carburetors, and power steering and brakes. It has a dual Flowmaster exhaust with a stock bumper exit. It features extensive chrome and "wide white" tires with stock hubcaps. A tuneup was recently performed.
The 1956 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible is a rare car. Only a handful of that model was sold in the past five years. The current owner has had the car for over 15 years.

As mentioned before, the car has been part of a Private Collection for more than fifteen years and is stored in a climate-controlled warehouse in the Fort Lauderdale/Florida area. However, the vehicle is now available for sale due to closing the classic car collection.
