This car underwent a new conversion before being delivered to its owner by COOLIDGE Motors Cars in Florida. After its importation to Europe and its acquisition in Switzerland in 2016, it underwent a complete renovation.
The engine underwent no major modifications or repairs; only peripherals were entirely replaced, including radiators, hoses, filters, spark plug wires, spark plugs, injectors, fuel pressure regulator, complete distributor, with a thorough cleaning after dismantling the fuel tank, replacement of the air conditioning system (complete line), water pump, various sensors, and thermostat.
The chassis was completely dismantled on a rotisserie and powder-coated after its acquisition in 2016. All gaskets and bushings were replaced during reassembly, as well as the 4 brake calipers, pads, hoses, tires, steering box, complete engine and gearbox oil changes, front shocks, front suspension ball joints, etc.
The integrity of the body was preserved with strict adherence to the original, both inside with the seats, carpet, dashboard, and in the complete paint job that respects the original color. The chrome, including the grille, is original. Although the current mascot comes from a post-war Cadillac and is valued at â¬1,000, the original mascot is still available. The wheels and hubcaps are also original.
The compressions were measured at 9.0 on all 8 cylinders, confirming the authenticity of the matching serial numbers. The car also received a new paint job faithful to the original.
An investment of â¬25,000 was dedicated to work carried out by professionals, ensuring meticulous and careful restoration, as well as the preservation of the original features of this car.
