Survivor Classic Car Services is proud to present this 1966 Chevrolet C10 Pro-Street. This Pro-Street pickup features a powerful engine provided by Blueprint Engines. The 383 stroker V8 was dyno-proven to produce 453 horsepower at 5,900 RPM.
Power is transmitted through a TCI Streetfighter TH350 transmission with a 2800 RPM stall, into a Ford 9" style housing that has been narrowed, reinforced, and equipped with a Strange nodular case, Moser 35 spline spool, and Moser axles. The rear tires are Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pro 33 x 19.5 on 15" Wheel Vintiques with a large dish.
The rear of the frame has been completely cut out and replaced with a Checker Racing 2 x 3 frame and a 4-link suspension setup. Suspension brackets are provided by Competition Engineering. To preserve the quality of workmanship, the bare metal was clear coated to maintain the "raw" look while protecting against the elements. The vehicle features 4-wheel power disc brakes with CPP front brakes and Aerospace rear brakes.
The stance, faux patina, subtle flames on the dashboard, heavy exhaust thumping at idle, and loud, bellowing scream at redline contribute to its impressive presence. The wiring has been upgraded with an American Autowire Classic Update for reliability. A full build list and receipts are included.
